Ethanol Company Doesn’t Think Big

A company building a biodiesel plant in Victoria’s west says starting small will be the key to its survival.
High feedstock prices have seen biodiesel plants close in Western Australia and South Australia recently, while plans for an ethanol plant in Victoria’s north west have been shelved.
Wimmera Biodiesel’s Steven Hobbs says the new plant in Kaniva will only produce small quantities when it starts up early next year, for local farmers to use in their tractors…
